Delivery & Assembly
Two Person Delivery
Note: For residential deliveries, the customer will be notified with a phone call from the shipping company before the kit is delivered to them
Idea of what the kit will look like before shipping from our warehouse for delivery
When the pallet reaches the customer's local terminal, the shipping company will contact the customer to set up delivery
Pieces are packed onto the pallet individually. After the bands are cut from the pallet, the kit can be unloaded piece by piece
Customer is responsible for providing a minimum of two people at the time of delivery to help unload the kit
Delivery driver is not required to help unload the kit
Kit is unloaded!
Assembly
Depending on the size of the building and skill level, assembly will take several days to finish. The precut kit comes with everything precut, labeled, primed and ready to assemble. You will need to provide shingles, drip edge and paint - a quantity list will be provided.
Step 1: Floor
Purchase an optional floor kit from Little Cottage Co. or purchase supplies from your local home improvement store.
Step 2: Walls
Assemble the walls with the pre-cut parts provided.
Step 3: Roof
Install the trusses and sheathing.
Step 4: Shingles
Install drip edge and roof shingles (not included, available at local hardware store).
Step 5: Windows
Install windows (provided with the kit).
Step 6: Trim
Install the trim included in the kit.
Step 7: Door
Install the door
Step 8: Paint

Easy DIY Kits
Little Cottage Company® has designed easy-to-construct Panelized Kits and Precut Kits. Panelized Kits come with pre-assembled walls and Precut Kits are precut, primed, labeled and ready for paint. You will only need basic carpentry skills and a few basic tools. Both styles are primed and ready to paint, the customer will provide shingles, drip edge and paint. Our kits have been successfully assembled by people all over the world.

Great experience
I was hoping to get to review this company as a positive experience should be shared. Everyone that i dealt with from customer service to the delivery company to the driver that delivered it was great. Everyone was so nice. The delivery driver kept me notified and arrived at the time he promised. The directions for assembly are clear and easy to follow. Had it not been so hot over the weekend, I would have had my 10x14 shed completed in 2 days. These kits take the guess work out of everything as everything is already cut to size. I would definitely use Little Cottage co. again if needed and I highly recommend them. Thanks you.

Great project
Little cottage co. provided all the material and instructions to make this build smooth. I enjoyed the project and now use my 10x20 as a home office. AC unit installed (made an additional window) and insulation coming soon!

My friend and I were looking for shed that would double as a work and relaxation space. We looked at all the big box stores and wasn't pleased. I did some research and found Little Cottage. We placed our order, and they were more than accommodating with our unusual request. Our order was delivered and it's being custom fitted to our expectations. Very pleased with the product.

Good shed with easy to follow instructions!
Overall- this is a great shed for the price with easy to follow instructions. My husband and I were able to put it together by ourselves (moderate handy level). It took us about a week and a half, but we were only able to work for a few hours at a time. The instructions were fairly easy to follow- but our shed was larger than the one in the instructions so a few details were missing for our specific shed. The only thing we weren’t happy with was some of our roof pieces were very warped. This left us with a gap in our roof so we ended up paying for extra materials to fix this issue. We realize we purchased the value shed- so I would hope this wouldn’t be an issue with their higher quality kits. We chalked it up to “you get what you pay for”- but it was still disappointing to have low quality pieces. Overall- it’s a good shed and I would recommend it if you are looking in this price point.

Wry easy to build
The only negative i can say is the instructions of the side panels and frame on mine could have been a little clearer. The markings on the wood were exact. I still double measured to verify. The nails that are shipped with this are junk though. Still, for the money this is a great shed. Ive done all I can do by myself and it took only about 9 total hours. I should have the rest done In 3 more. Use a nail gun. It makes the job so much faster.
